Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A

The night of Monday, May 6, is Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A.  Part of your purchase will go to renovation and upgrades to the weight rooms for the girls and boys.  Come out and support your Patriots.  Ask your friends and relatives to eat on this date and tell them you wish to support PLAS.  Thank you for everything you do for Pike and for our students.

Powder Puff Game

Congratulations

Congratulations to Libby Barnes and Addi Garrott for winning 2nd Place and Honorable Mention respectively in the Daughters of the Confederacy Coloring Contest.

Technology Trot

The annual 5K and 1 mile fun run "Pike Lib Tech Trot" is this Saturday, April 20, beginning at 8:00 am.  All money collected will go towards technology for PLAS.  Those that wish to participate can sign up the morning of the event but they need to be extra early to receive their bib numbers and packet.  This year we are offering a cash award to the top female and male 5K participants.  Competitive runners, leisure runners, non-runners, and walkers are all welcome!  If you are not interested in participating, please pass the word to your friends who might be interested.  Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the day together.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Chandler Cox for making the State Tennis Tournament in Men's Singles and to Katie Ward and Sara Saunders for making the State Tennis Tournament in Ladies' Doubles.  They will play Monday, April 15, at Lagoon Park in Montgomery.

Softball

The JV Softball game with Evangel starts at 3:00 pm.  The JV Softball players will be excused at 2:00 pm.

The Varsity Softball team will play 2 games with Evangel following the JV game.

Pike Liberal Arts Beauty Pageant

K4 - 8th Grades - Monday, April 29 @ 6:00 pm
9th - 12th Grades - Tuesday, April 30 @ 6:00 pm

If you would like to be in the PLAS Beauty Pageant, please fill out an entry form and return it with the $25 entry fee to your homeroom teacher by Friday, April 19.  Checks should be made payable to PLAS Cheerleaders and attached to the entry form.  For more information call Natalie Lankford at 334-672-3301 or Angie Grice at 205-789-6218.  The K4 - 4th Grade contestants will wear heirloom dresses or Sunday dresses/church attire and the 5th -12th Grade contestants will wear floor length evening gowns.

Prom

Prom will be Friday, April 12, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm.  School will dismiss at noon Friday and there will be no after school that day.

SAT Testing

SAT testing will be going on the week ending April 12.
