  • Of the $1200, half will be applied to the party responsible for encouraging their enrollment at PLAS.  The other half will be applied to the new family attending.
  • If either party wishes to let any portion of their benefit be applied to the other party, they may allow it by writing a short statement on their enrollment form.
  • Faculty members at PLAS are also encouraged to participate.
  • The benefit will be applied to tuition for active families or, in the case of faculty members, will be applied to their payroll earnings.
  • The benefit will be provided at $150 per month until depleted.
  • For new families, during the course of this program, we will allow foundation fees to be paid in equal amounts on a monthly basis, calculated by dividing $750 by the number of months remaining in the school year.
  • At Christmas we will decide whether to continue the program in its current state, reduce the amount of the incentive, or discontinue the program all together.

PIKE LIB PATRIOTS PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

Dear Parents,

It is an exciting time for the Physical Education Department here at PLAS.  We are anxious to get the new school year started and have the opportunity to work with your child in physical education.  Coach Avant, Coach Park and Coach Kennedy will be teaching various physical education lessons that will enhance your child’s knowledge of the different sports, their rules and also allow them the chance to improve their skills to allow them to participate in these sports in the future.  The coaches will also lead them in work-outs and conditioning.

Different skills will be taught daily.  For K-4-12th grades proper clothing and tennis shoes are required for your child to participate.  If a student fails to comply and the proper attire and tennis shoes  are not worn, they will not be able to participate and will have points taken off and will have to ride an exercise bike, walk or exercise as directed by the teacher in their street clothes.  If a student is ill or injured and not able to participate, they are required to have a doctor’s excuse.  We will not accept a note from home to excuse the student from participation. We want to stress that participation is extremely important for your child to get the most out of this class.  We look forward to a great year!  GO PATRIOTS!!!!!

Please fill out the information below and return to the teacher by Monday, August 19th.
